Immigrant entrepreneur

EnterpriseHelsinki has two different courses for immigrant entrepreneurs: Entrepreneurship training courses who want to start their own business and Evening courses for already acting Entrepreneurs. 

Entrepreneurship training course

Entrepreneurship training course for Immigrants is held in Finnish, but key terms can be explained also in English and Russian if needed. Course takes place on weekdays from 9 to 16 and it includes 35 teaching days in total. There will be lectures, group works, group discussions and written/spoken exercises. Course topics will include e.g. business plan, productization of business plan, marketing and sales, business economics, cost accounting, legal matters of a small company and establishment of a company.

These courses are usually held every spring and autumn. Courses are labour market training courses and they are organzed together with the Employment office and the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Uusimaa.

Evening courses for entrepreneurs

EnterpriseHelsinki organizes as a part Become an Entrepreneur in Finland- EU project also short evening business courses in English, Russian and Finnish. They are tailor-made for active immigrant entrepreneurs who are new to running a business or would like to update their business know-how.
